I filled all in (and noted down all details). Select the desired email account in the left sidebar. Enter your credit card and billing information, then click Continue. The email address that you provide will be your new Apple ID.
Click Create Apple ID, then follow the onscreen steps. When setting up the Mac it offers a account. Create an Apple ID on your Mac Choose Apple menu > System Preferences. I thought it was great to give them their own ID.
